Job: 3D Lead Artist

Art Generalist with Strong Game Character and Environment Art Portfolio

For our upcoming debut title we are looking for a new core team member shaping our world and characters!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create character and environment art assets based on concept art and reference
  • Work with Art Direction to help design the look and and feel of our game
  • Create animations and PBR textures for 3D character and environment art
  • Support Technical Lead, Technical Art and Production in developing an efficient pipeline for character art, environment art and VFX
  • Create regular marketing renders and video clips from assets

Qualifications:

You have

  • a strong online portfolio showing a variety of styles
  • experience creating mid-poly art assets for games
  • highly proficient Blender skills
  • experience using the PBR workflow, LODs, polybudget, and texture optimization techniques in game development
  • ability to adopt to existing and new art styles
  • ability to consistently work within technical constraints and art direction
  • an interest in working on action oriented top down multiplayer games
  • the ability and desire to communicate artistic issues and personal opinions respectfully, freely and clearly
  • a positive collaborative mindset

Bonus if

  • 2+ years of experience in the AA+ games industry as 3D Artist
  • very strong 3D character animation skills
  • experience working with game engines (especially if Godot)
  • released solo game
