Postmortem is Strandedbeasts commercial debut game. It's a top down 4 player (2 vs 2) action game you can play locally with friends, as couch coop or via WIFI, as well as online. The core loop of our game is simple yet wildly expandable and intrinsically fun. We already built a gameplay prototype for local couch coop, which will be torn down and rebuilt up from scratch with online multiplayer architecture in mind.
Postmortem is set in a world neither future nor past, but long and far from our own. A world full of ancients rites and cults, of long stretches of beautiful idyll and brutally harsh outskirts. A world trapped in the contrast of euphoric utopia and the dystopian destruction.
You fight for what you believe is right, what you see as your duty and your obligation. But in the keen corners of your eyes, you see the facade crumbling. Things are not as you have been told. The world is changing, you can feel it! Will you change with it, or fullfill your duty and die at the hands of mankinds last enemy?
With a small core team of 4 to 6 experienced professionals, who strive to shake up the indie game scene. We have professional experience with competitive online FPS Shooter games, MOBA style games, various types of Indie games and designing out own hobby board and card games. We are in love with clever, action oriented gaming, be it video games, challenging board game or complex card games.
